On the 21st September at 7.30pm we meet the man behind the music, and are made privy to the tumultuous circumstances that drove Tchaikovsky to the heights of creativity and the depths of despair – all performed to the soundtrack of his miraculous compositions. Fighting with his inner demons, Tchaikovsky comes to understand how music can express the deepest longings of his soul, and how he may transcend his own fears and limitations to achieve ultimate meaning and resolution.
With a complimentary glass of Prosecco and an enviable cast, this will certainly be a night to remember.

Word & Music
Word & Music Production Company are very excited to launch their partnership with the LMP at the Wimbledon Music Festival 2019, with a performance of ‘Bright Stars shone for Us’.
They are very excited to bring a fresh, new style of musico-theatrical collaboration – the Lyric Drama – to London. The purpose of Word & Music is to establish a base in Europe for the performances and production of this fresh, and under-utilised type of dramatic presentation, Lyric Dramas.
W&M was founded in 2018 by actor and writer Tama Matheson (word and stage), Violinist Davina Clarke (music) and Dr Kirsten Fehring (behind the scene).
The company collaborates with festivals (such as the Wimbledon Int. Music Festival), orchestras (such as the London Mozart Players), ensembles (e.g. Baroque collective Solomon’s Knot), and venues (Royal Albert Hall).
The collaboration between new artists and different art-forms lends a wonderful impetus to creativity, and constantly pushes the company in new directions. This is one of the great pleasures of our work!
Do have a look at www.wordandmusic.co.uk to find out about upcoming plays and our ever evolving repertoire.
