Brunch Magic at Megan’s Wimbledon

I can still remember the first time I walked by Megan's in the village, and saw the ladies of Wimbledon scattered along its patio with brunch plates as colourful as the gorgeous blue florals that surrounded them. Fast forward to yesterday when Lady W, Amy Day and I started off the week the right way with a Monday morning brunch at MITV. Weekend brunches at Megan's are a staple ingredient of a local weekend well spent, but this was my first weekday visit...

As a committed carnivore, I am always impressed when I find vegetarian dishes that leave me captivated enough to forget the absence of my meaty main staples. The Vegetarian Full English Breakfast at Babylon 76-78 is a perfect example of this. Rather than make like-for-like substitutions on the standard sausage, bacon...

Lady W’s Wimbledon Times Spotlight: 23/7/20

“I have to confess that over the last couple of months I have been checking out your best friend. It's not like me really, but having spent months exploring nothing but the vast Wimbledon woods with the kids and the trees for company, my head has turned. Boy or girl, I don’t mind, but they have all ashamedly got a mark out of 10 in my head as I walk past.” Read the full article: ‘Breaking out of habit with #LadyWimbledon’ in Lady W’s Wimbledon Times Spotlight here > or pick up the print version in and around Wimbledon.

Lady W’s Wimbledon Times Spotlight: 10/7/20

“Perhaps we are all caught in a conundrum. Shops and pubs are opening their doors and each one of us is contemplating the right time to step inside. I probably needed a slight push, make that a shove - for I have easily slipped into a comfort zone of trainers, picnics and parks.” Read the full article: ‘Back into town with #LadyWimbledon’ in Lady W’s Wimbledon Times Spotlight here > or pick up the print version in and around Wimbledon.
