February is full of optimism, Spring is on its way and there are shoots of colour everywhere breaking up the grey. We also have half term and are lucky enough to have plenty of holiday camps in Wimbledon for the kids! Here is a selection of our favourites activities for February…
The Entertainer Wimbledon Grand Opening Party
Visit our local toy store, The Entertainer in Wimbledon town centre, on Saturday 15th February for the grand opening party! Check out the new refurb and enjoy character visits, live demos and toys galore!
And if you’re one of the first 20 families through the door at 9am, you will be in with a chance to pick a gift card in the Lucky Dip, or post a selfie from the store tagging #TheEntertainerWimbledon for a chance to win a £25 gift card.

The Little Mix Experience Tribute Band
If the kids love Little Mix this is a great way to enjoy the concert experience locally! 4 talented young ladies pay tribute to the UK’s finest girl-band with amazing dance moves and replica costumes.
This is a high-energy show and sounds like a lot of fun! Packed with all of Little Mix’s greatest hits and suitable for all ages. Featuring songs such as DNA, Wings, Salute, Black Magic, Shout Out To My Ex and many, many more.

February Half Term: Wild Crafts!
Roll up your sleeves and join in the fun at Morden Hall Park, making wildflower seed bombs and decorating a grass-head pot!
Join in the mission to improve biodiversity in outdoor spaces by making native wildflower seed bombs to take home to plant in your garden. You can also paint your own grass-head pot, and fill it with pipe cleaner spring bugs!
There is also a seasonal trail, available from the Garden Centre (£2 per trail)

Deen City Farm School Holiday Programmes
Local favourite Deen City Farm runs a number of holiday programmes for older kids age 8+ , offering fun and friendly, educational outdoor activities.
Young Farmer Day – £30 per day
Perfect for animal lovers, learn all about what it takes to keep a yard running and how to look after all the animals at the farm.
Maya, aged eight, said: “I like Young Farmers because as well as meeting big animals and mucking out you get to play with small animals” and Poppy, aged nine, said: “I loved Young Farmers because we learned about farm animals and how a farm really works, we saw what goes on behind the scenes at the Farm and met new and interesting people”.
Young farmers days are suitable for children aged 8-12
Own A Pony – £40 per day (includes ride)
Find out what’s involved in owning a pony, from mucking out to feeding and grooming – great fun for a horse-loving kid!
Each day there will be a different themed activity, including tacking up and plaiting manes and tails. In the afternoon the children go out for a half hour ride followed by horsey games. All Own a Pony participants will receive a certificate and rosette on completion of the day.

Polka Theatre Half Term Workshops
PROPerty of Polka – a drama workshop inspired by props and costumes
Delve into the box of Polka props to see what you can find…a mask, puppet, hat, a ship in a bottle and so much more! A creative acting workshop for budding actors looking at developing short scenes inspired by Polka props and costumes. Show off the scenes you’ve created at the end of the day to family and friends.
Sing a Song with Polka – a Musical Theatre Workshop
Join in with this all singing, all dancing, all acting Musical Theatre workshop! Bring some of the favourite Polka songs to life from a number of popular shows including; Chocolate Cake, The Everywhere Bear and The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me. Share what has been created with family and friends at the end of the day.
A Treasure Chest of Stories Workshop
‘Once upon a time…’ four magical words that will take you on a journey to the farthest reaches of your imagination. Bring in your treasured toy and join our storyteller on a magical story adventure.

Geeky Kids Coding Camps
Learn to code in Kodu & Scratch or Python in a fun and interactive half term holiday camps for ages 7-17. Spanning over three days, students will be able to express their creativity while building cool games and programs.

Youngstars Holiday Camps
Youngstars camps offer loads of fun, games and excitement whilst participating in several sports, including football, basketball, cricket, lacrosse, hockey, t-ball, tennis, rugby, dodgeball & athletics – all within a non-competitive and inclusive environment. Every game, drill and exercise is designed to improve coordination, awareness, motor skills and team work. After lunch children can also enjoy a number of art and craft activities.
