How did you first come to know about Bluebird Care?
I was in hospital for a short while for concerns with heart problems and high blood pressure I was discharged with an NHS carer for 2 weeks and I was told I would need to find my private care after that. My daughter was scrolling online and came across Bluebird Care (Merton) by chance.
How has the personalised care from Bluebird Care made a positive impact on your life or the life of your loved one?
Living alone can be difficult sometimes so just having someone coming in just to check on me is enough but just knowing someone is there to look out for me, the company, and being able to have a chat is a huge bonus. Having the carers around has allowed me to stay in my own home and maintain my independence which is a big deal to me.
What factors influenced your decision to choose Bluebird Care for domiciliary care?
Well, I was satisfied with the lady who came to interview me, she seemed very nice and welcoming and I guess the offer was affordable and available.
Can you share a specific example of a carer going above and beyond your expectations?
I find generally that all the girls will go the extra mile and do more than asked such as changing the bedding weekly which I struggle with or even extra cleaning around the house which I appreciate immensely. I can also remember my birthday just gone where one of my regular carers bought me my favourite flowers which was a very kind and thoughtful gesture.
Would you recommend Bluebird Care to others in need of domiciliary care?
Yes I would highly recommend it because I am a well happy and satisfied customer. All the girls are lovely and I am truly glad I have them around.
Have you found the team to be transparent and responsive to your needs and concerns?
The team is very attentive, they always listen to my needs and I can always rely on them to deal with any concerns promptly.
How important do you feel these relationships are in the overall care experience?
Yes I have and I find these relationships extremely important as most days they are the only people I see.
What advice would you give to someone considering Bluebird Care for their loved one?
