During two weekends this autumn, Love Wimbledon are bringing art alive in partnership with the Wimbledon BookFest, celebrating the exciting and vibrant arts culture that SW19 has to offer.

Enjoy the Arts Market on The Piazza during the opening weekend (17 and 18 September) where local traders will be showcasing and selling their finest pieces, from arts and crafts to illustrations and prints. The Polka Theatre will also be celebrating their ‘Brain Waves Festival’ where children can discover how their brain lets them do the things they love.

Dive into the world of Roald Dahl (24 and 25 September) and celebrate Roald Dahl’s centenary. A number of Roald Dahl themed activities will be taking place, from exploring the invented language of ‘Gobblefunk’ to screen printing Quentin Blake’s most famous illustrations. James and the Giant Peach takeover The Piazza on the Saturday, where children can get their photo taken inside the Giant Peach, as well as relish in fun short stories with The Centipede, Miss Spider, The Earthworm and the Old Green Grasshopper.
