The DecorCafe Home & Garden Festival is being held at Strawberry Hill House, Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture, from 10am to 4pm on Friday 5th May.
Created by Horace Walpole in the 18th century, Strawberry Hill House is internationally famous as Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture and one of the world’s most original homes.
The festival is all about inspiring and helping you to create your home and garden and connecting you to people who can help. Highlights include, meeting celebrity interior designer, and 2017 designer of the year Nicky Haslam, enjoying expert talks on colour, garden styling, nutrition and food and wine pairing and learning from expert demos: upholstery, furniture painting, soft furnishings.
Not to mention you’ll be able to shop original home & garden products from over 40 exhibitors and you’ll be treated to refreshments, light lunch, food and wine tastings and a prosecco bar.
They are also including a room dedicated to inspire and help people staring up or running their own home business and will be kicking off the morning with a talk from award-winning blogger Louisa Blackmore all about how to get your own home business noticed with top tips for blogging and social media, followed by the opportunity to have your questions answered by our panel of media experts: Louisa Blackmore, Serena Fokschaner and Group Editor of Time & Leisure Magazine, Fiona Shield.
