Gina Conway

Gina Conway Aveda in Wimbledon

I thought my hair was in good condition, but Gina Conway Aveda in Wimbledon took it to another level of shine.

The Aveda colouring is 97% natural and only 3% synthetic, this is very rare for hair colours. It is made without any petrochemicals, plus it contains sumptuous coconut oil which nourishes and moisturises at the same time – with no heat and no smell, the experience is wholesome.

I chose a soft wavy blow dry, the stylist used GHDs and Aveda products to create perfect, super shiny waves. I was so pleased with the finished result, as it is quite a hard look to achieve, and can often be too curly or not enough volume, but they managed to get it spot on. Plus, it lasted for a few days, and I just used dry shampoo to keep it fresh, which can come in very handy during the Wimbledon fortnight, if you don’t have time to wash your hair daily.

Also throughout the treatment I received a head and hand massage with natural oils – I felt like I was on a spa day, and was so relaxed by the time it finished. So if you need a little bit of time out from everyday manic life then this is the place to go.

Show Dry

Show Dry is situated in Wimbledon Village

Show Dry is situated in Wimbledon Village and it’s one of Lady Wimbledon’s favourite spots to get party ready. The services include Express Blow Dry, Up-Do & Braids, you can also arrive with your hair wet or dry and you’ll be ready to go in just 30 minutes. The perfect place if you are limited on time, and want to look fabulous. There is also a make-up booking service which I just adore.

Rush

New to Wimbledon Village this year is Rush, they started off with a wonderful launch party and have been going strong ever since. Our style blogger Charlotte Broadbent is a big fan of Rush and is regularly seen getting her blowdried there.

Headmasters

Also in Wimbledon Village, Headmasters are celebrating 35 years of hairdressing, and they are one of my all time favourite salons to go to. I am happy to say they are offering 50% off colour services to celebrate Wimbledon Tennis from 3 to 16 July.

Remember, everywhere is going to be super busy so don’t forget to book in advance.
