Wimbledon is definitely a foodie town and apart from brilliant restaurants, bars and cafes, we are spoiled with incredible delis to explore. Here are my top 3.
Bayley & Sage
The deli of Wimbledon Village is one of my favourite places to go – it’s a feast for the eyes and for the stomach. Freshly baked bread, stunning fruit and vegetables, cakes, olives, wine and so much more. Their cheese counter is incredibly enticing and their take away lunches are a little luxury treat for me when I find myself going through the village on my way to work. If you are a fan of charcuterie and cold meats make sure you try a few of their chosen pieces.

Vallebona
Hidden away in the Weir Road industrial estate is a foodie’s treasure trove. Vallebona is an Italian deli with Japanese twist set up by husband and wife Stefano and Naoko who have a passion for the finest food and best ingredients. You can buy their incredible products online but I would thoroughly insist on a trip to the warehouse to explore their products and become captivated and incredibly hungry in their cold meat and cheese room. Make sure you try their meal sets which include the main ingredients and the recipe card for you to follow.

La Bottega Del Pane
A gem of a deli which makes and produces delicious items. This includes stunning bread handmade on site, handmade chocolates along with the usual delicious deli items like superb cheese and olives to name a few. They also have a great selection of pastas and sauces, plus other treats from Italy perfect to cook with at home. If you’re passing by make sure you stay for a cup of coffee in their cafe, plus a slice of cake to accompany it.
