It’s almost 2018 and the perfect excuse for a night out with a glass of champagne, a Wimbledon Brewery beer or cocktail with friends and loved ones at one of the amazing venues in Wimbledon.

The Ivy Cafe

Possibly one of my most favourite places to go for a special occasion is The Ivy Cafe. The beautifully prepared food and most stylish setting makes me feel transported to a Parisian cafe. Their cocktails and coolers are also a delicious drink to accompany their fine menu filled with warming and delicious dishes including their classic shepherd’s pie.

Cannizaro

Dress up and enjoy a fine wine or cocktail in front of the fire in the main hall or a special treat with a delicious meal in the ambient orangerie. Hotel du Vin offer such incredible food on their winter menu, a wonderful atmosphere and truly brilliant service from a team who know their food and wine in such incredible detail. I think a beef bourguignon with a rich red wine would be perfect way to warm up from the cold.

The White Onion

For fine contemporary French cuisine and a wonderful meal experience visit The White Onion in Wimbledon Village. Their menu is filled with beautiful meals which are filled with a wonderful combination of flavours, the presentation makes the dish a real pleasure and worth a visit. I’m looking forward to trying their Guinea fowl and tension dishes over the festive period.
