After the Christmas decorations had been taken down, my home was ready to be freshened up for the New Year. Out with the old, in with the new! I was delighted to be invited by Wilko to pick out some cute pieces.
Twinkling lights can help to make a room feel cosy. I chose a string of battery powered hanging heart fairy lights for my daughters pretty bedroom. She was so excited to come home after school and find her room had a touch of sparkle.
For the study in my home, I chose an industrial style copper desk lamp with filament bulb. The lighting really impressed me and this lamp was my star buy because of the versatility and vintage design. It brightens up the dullest corner in my home when the sunlight goes. The dimple effect copper bowl and an A3 planner to help me organise my busy family’s weekly schedule add to the look.
I live in a busy home and wanted to declutter the industrial shelves in my living room for a more relaxing and pared-back look. I found these grey fabric storage boxes in the storage range and they’re great for storing keepsake cards and trinkets to take out on a rainy day.
At the end of a long day, who doesn’t love to indulge in a bath! Wilko have a huge choice of beauty products and accessories for bathrooms. This luxurious, soft bath mat sits perfectly in my bathroom and is so beautiful to step out onto after a bubble bath.
As a hostess to monthly ‘NC Supper Clubs’ in my home, I always need an abundance of glassware and tableware for my guests and Wilko offered me additional tableware for unexpected guests.
I can’t wait to bring my children here for pack-lunch boxes, water bottles and stationery, although I know they’ll head straight to the pick ‘n’ mix just like I did as a child, and still do!
