After the Christmas decorations had been taken down, my home was ready to be freshened up for the New Year. Out with the old, in with the new! I was delighted to be invited by Wilko to pick out some cute pieces.
Twinkling lights can help to make a room feel cosy. I chose a string of battery powered hanging heart fairy lights for my daughters pretty bedroom. She was so excited to come home after school and find her room had a touch of sparkle.
For the study in my home, I chose an industrial style copper desk lamp with filament bulb. The lighting really impressed me and this lamp was my star buy because of the versatility and vintage design. It brightens up the dullest corner in my home when the sunlight goes. As a hostess to monthly ‘NC Supper Clubs’ in my home, I always need an abundance of glassware and tableware for my guests and Wilko offered me additional tableware for unexpected guests.
I can’t wait to bring my children here for pack-lunch boxes, water bottles and stationery, although I know they’ll head straight to the pick ‘n’ mix just like I did as a child, and still do!
