With Mother’s Day soon approaching and the children excited but not quite sure how to show how much they care, it was wonderful to get a phone call from Bentalls Kingston inviting the children to choose and arrange flowers for the special day.
As regular shoppers at Bentalls, we eagerly jumped on the 57 bus from Wimbledon and headed to our favourite shopping centre.
My children aged, 5, 7 and 9 were asked to choose their favourite colours from the huge array of beautiful flowers piled on the table. They were guided step by step on how to trim and arrange the perfect bunch.
Full of smiles and love, the hour zoomed past.
Carefully they wrote out their message and attached it to their hand crafted bouquet.
It was a very special moment when they presented their Mother’s Day bouquet to me right in the middle of Bentalls.
We all went away to enjoy a well deserved lunch by the river.
