Wimbledon is dressed up for the tennis and here are a list of my favourite places to visit to take beautiful photos for your Instagram during The Championships.

The Ivy Cafe

A central point of Wimbledon Village during The Championships for food and drink, The Ivy’s Wimbledon decorations are always incredible and this year I think they are the best yet. Lots of flowers, tennis balls and vintage rackets are stunning ways to add to your Instagram this July. Once you’ve selfied and taken lots of gorgeous photos outside, make sure you try out their equally Instagrammable food – especially the tennis ball bombe pudding.

Illumin8 Beauty

The gorgeous beauty salon in Church Road has a beautiful frame of flowers, tennis rackets, balls and purple nail varnish around its window and acts as the perfect Instagram frame for the tennis. The dark background and bright purple flowers look great with bright summer dresses, florals, and even black evening wear. Using the purple nail varnish as highlights and bringing a little bit of the Wimbledon purple into the frame is a brilliant idea!

Thai Tho

The longest standing Thai restaurant and local legend in Wimbledon Village is a hype of activity during the tennis and their decorations each year are always worth a visit to admire. Their artificial grass exterior and tennis court entrance adds a super fun way to start your meal. The food is also incredible and you’re more than likely to see a player or celebrity when you visit. Plus tennis player Maria Sharapova described the restaurant as her favourite restaurant to visit during the Wimbledon Championships.

Friarwood Wine

The independent wine merchant in Wimbledon Village has a beautiful and rather understated display for the tennis but it is the perfect backdrop for your Wimbledon photos. Outside their shop the large columns have been wrapped in fake grass, tennis balls and butterflies. The height of the display makes it perfect to show off your outfit and the village in one. While you’re there make sure you visit and pick up a delicious drink to enjoy during a match.

Bayley and Sage

The foodie paradise in Wimbledon Village always delights with its displays all year around and for the tennis they always add something extra. This year their giant strawberry of top seeds window is beautiful and the perfect backdrop for your photos. I loved posing in front of it and the picture for my Instagram looks so cute. Who doesn’t love a giant strawberry?
