With #WimbledonFever about to hit, hotels across the city are creating their own tennis themed menus. The Petersham Restaurant in Richmond have designed an ace afternoon tea fit for The Championships. Lady W went to check out the hotel boasting the best views of the River Thames.
Head Chef Jean-Didier Gouges’ big serves for the season are a scrumptious Pimm’s jelly and cucumber foam, mini mango ‘tennis ball’ cheesecakes and white chocolate and strawberry tartlets. It’s a grand slam of favourite Wimbledon flavours. And, with a view over the Thames as inviting as Centre Court, The Petersham is a destination that can be enjoyed throughout the Championships, and beyond.
