Last Saturday Lady Wimbledon attended 601 Queen’s Road brunch session, boasting an all female DJ-led line up, on what was recorded to be one of the hottest days in September so far.
Overlooking Wimbledon town, Lady Wimbledon, joined by Karine Torr from Darling Magazine, vlogger Being Mr Brown and Eyes of Lady Wimbledon blogger Feel Good Flora, soaked up the glorious September sun in what turned out to be an amazing Saturday brunch fest.
Amongst many things 601 is renown for their expertise in the craft of the tipple. From freshly pressed organic juices, four different variations of your traditional lemonade made with homemade sherbet and even the cheeky Bloody Mary.
Let’s not forget 601’s amazing range of iced coffee’s to give you that much needed morning boost to help you get through whatever the day brings.
601, Wimbledon’s coolest rooftop bar and terrace opened spring of this year. The sixth instalment, brought to us by Darwin & Wallace, boasts a contemporary blend between traditional British menus, as well as, some more exotic numbers.
601’s kitchen prides itself on locally sourced products which make all the difference both on their menu and on your palette. With their menu’s variation you’re unlikely to walk away unsatisfied as the chefs have ensured there is something to please everyone.
601’s signature fruit salad, topped with roasted spiced peach, kiwi, pineapple, grapefruit, grapes and passionfruit, is not only a sight to behold but a clear favourite on the table. And it is dishes like this that elevates 601 Queen’s Road to restaurant royalty in Wimbledon.
All in attendance were entertained throughout the brunch session by a selection of female DJ artists spinning some retro classics for all to enjoy.
As you can see vlogger Being Mr Brown clearly enjoyed taking a minute to lounge in one of 601’s quiet corners and he wasn’t the only one. It’s perfect for taking a minute to enjoy a beautifully roasted coffee, catching up on a little work or even having a little ‘me time’.
Once you’ve had a chance to enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace and sampled the beautiful food and drink menu it’s not hard to see why so many people are raving about 601 Queen’s Road.
For anyone located in Wimbledon, or nearby, visiting 601 Queen’s Road should be at the top of everyones list and can not wait to hold our next bloggers meeting at this cool roof top bar and terrace next Monday.
