Fall 2018’s Hottest Accessory Trends

Posted by Eyes of Lady Wimbledon | 11 September 2018 | Magazine, Style

Swinging into fall in fashion this year has never been more exciting. Follow us as we explore how to build your style armoury with the new season’s hottest catwalk style trends.

#1 – On The Wild Side

She’s edgy, she’s chic, she’s all about the Leopard Neckerchief Scarf!* A major fall trend to keep an eye out for this fall is the printed silk scarf which is as versatile as it is hot. Embody a little Audrey Hepburn by loosely tying it around a low ponytail, add some flair to your office power suit or refresh your favourite over-the-shoulder bag by knotting it on one of the handles.

#2 – Throw Some Shade

Embodying 50’s screen sirens you’ll be throwing some major shade with oversized sunglasses. We’d recommend sticking with classic 70’s neutral block colours, such as the Amber Cat Eye Sunglasses*, or trying something a little more retro with a vintage pair of Angelica Multi Tortoiseshell Sunglasses*.

#3 – Swing From The Chandelier

Now is the time to covet the statement earring and the trend for fall is, ‘Bigger, Bolder, Better’. So take your pick from classic hoop earrings, chandelier-style, block-colour tassels and my personal favourite the ball drop-earring. River Island have a gorgeous selection available both online and in store.

#4 – Chains of Fall

Chained cross-body bags are all the rage across several high-end fashion collections. This burnt orange Paris Cross-Body Bag, from Oasis, makes for the perfect transitional shade into Autumn/Winter 2018 and can be paired with almost everything in your wardrobe.

Adapting to a new-season need not be boring or dull. Seize your style with these show stopping accessory additions and most importantly have fun with it.
