The Italian gelateria G Like Gelato, based in Wimbledon, held an exclusive launch party on Thursday 27th opening their doors to over 90 guests including the Mayor of Merton Councillor Mary Curtin, Karine Torr from Darling Magazine, publisher Grant Bickell and food blogger Sisley White.
Located on Wimbledon Bridge G Like Gelato warmly welcomed guests with wine and cheese, free range of freshly-made gelato’s and a few sneak peaks of the autumn/winter menu set to launch later this year.
Guests ranged from the youngest …
… Francesca Hodge and Grant Sivell certainly had their hands full …
… to the eldest …
… food blogger Sisley White, Chantal Borciani from Time & Leisure and Karine Torr from Darling Magazine.
Speaking to food blogger Sisley White I learnt what makes G Like Gelato so special and unique, “This is real gelato. You won’t find any nasty hidden additives only freshly made traditional Italian gelato.” Surely enough the number of guest grew until there was barely enough room to eat!
But that isn’t all this humble gelateria has to offer. Customers can order and buy gelato cakes made to order in store!
The event came to an end with founder Luca giving a heartfelt speech and the Mayor of Merton Councillor Mary Curtin cutting the official blue ribbon.
