Located in the heart of Wimbledon Village The Ivy Cafe it set to undergo a haunting transformation as the establishment celebrates Halloween or ‘Halloweek’.

The entrance and doorway which Wimbledonites will be used to seeing covered in seasonal flowers will be draped with cobwebs, spiders, skulls and more as The Ivy Cafe team prepare to welcome the witching hour.

Guests will be able to choose from a playful, limited-edition menu serving up seasonal foods fit for unworldly Royalty. From Grave-lax & blood-orange (cured salmon with a blood orange dressing), roasted pumpkin (whole mini pumpkin with Freekah, coriander and red pepper sauce) to steak through the heart (seared rare tuna steak, crispy artichoke heart, black garlic sauce, pomegranate and smoked aubergine).

There’ll even be a tantalising chocolate skull dessert consisting of salted caramel chocolate pudding, golden popping candy and honeycomb served with a side of vanilla ice-cream.

If that doesn’t make your fangs tickle then this certainly will.

Part of The Ivy Cafe’s Halloweek menu includes seasonal cocktails brewed to bring your undead heart back to life. Pick your poison this week as the restaurant bar team shakes up a Spiced Apple Martini. It’s then up to you how you have yours. Will it be shaken or stirred Sir?

General Manager, Alfonso Cadena, is over the moon with The Ivy’s Halloween event. “This is the first time we’ll be offering a dedicated menu and we can’t wait to see our guests’ reactions when they come into the restaurant.”

Having visited The Ivy Cafe before Lady Wimbledon and the bloggers tribe cannot wait to try out this glorious autumnal menu.

The Ivy Cafe’s devilish menu will be available to enjoy for one-week-only from Wednesday 24th till Wednesday 31st October.
