Kickstart your summer with a trip to Battersea’s glorious and oh so sunny park this June, where a series of events kicks off this weekend with outdoor screenings of favourite family films. Grab your friends and family and leave your worries behind: you are in for a whole lot of fun!
Every weekend in June there will be incredible kids activities and events on offer throughout the park for all the family – from alfresco cinema for kids (big and small) and Cricket World Cup screenings to inflatable assault courses, live music and, of course, the annual Battersea Park Dog Show.
And of course summer in London wouldn’t be complete without an array of mouthwatering street food stalls and a very well stocked bar serving refreshing drinks to ensure no one goes thirsty: so every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 8.30pm, the picnic benches will be out and the parasols open, ready for you to roll up and enjoy whatever takes your fancy.
Adventures on the big screen will be shown all day on Sunday 9th June at the park’s pop-up outdoor children’s cinema. Pop down to the Pump House pitch and relax among the vibrant greenery while watching your favourite children’s classic. As well as having food and drink within easy reach, you can buy a picnic blanket to spread out on, or hire a deckchair or beanbag from the bar. So book your tickets, get comfy and enjoy this unique experience in the heart of Battersea Park! Film tickets cost £7 for children, £10 for adults. Book via Eventbrite here >
