We can’t wait to welcome The Chase Farmers’ Market to Wimbledon! Launching on Sunday 15th September at Wimbledon Chase Primary School, a stone’s throw from the town centre, the award-winning City and Country Farmers’ Markets will be introducing a new and exciting market culture to Wimbledon.

When: Sunday 15th September, 10am-3pm. Thereafter every Sunday
Where: Wimbledon Chase Primary School, Merton Hall Rd, London SW19 3QB
More info: Visit the City and Country Farmers’ Market website

Not just your normal farmers’ market, CCFM have an established reputation for creating bustling and vibrant community markets that are truly embraced, and loved, by the locals.

The Chase Market will be CCFM’s 7th London market, and will hopefully be as successful as all the others! Their six current markets are extremely popular and boast a real social feel – a place to meet friends, eat together and enjoy a friendly market atmosphere that brings together an outstanding selection of top quality local producers and artisans.

CCFM take great pride in offering carefully sourced produce and bringing together a harmonious mix of local stallholders. They are delighted to have won Slow Food UK and Time Out Love London Awards for Alexandra Palace Farmers’ Market, and most recently Time Out Love London Awards 2018 for Oval Farmers’ Market and Herne Hill Farmers’ Market.

The Chase Market will offer this same winning blend of fresh produce, hot food, and drinks every week. It will include fruit and vegetables from Kent, fresh fish from the Dorset coast, pressed fruit juices, local rare breed pork sausages, organic bread, handmade pies, traditionally made cheese, cakes, biscuits, salt marsh reared beef and lamb, relishes and sauces, freshly marinated olives, biltong, hand prepared Moroccan, Indian and Mediterranean style dishes made with locally sourced ingredients… and much, much more.

If you’re looking for something ready to eat, whether it’s a hearty Sunday brunch or a healthy vegan wrap, you won’t be disappointed with the selection on offer. The ethos of the market is to make it a real community hub, so there will be tables and chairs for family and friends to enjoy their meals, washed down with an organic fairtrade coffee, fresh juice or a glass of something stronger! At the launch and on occasion, there will also be live music all adding to the relaxed Sunday atmosphere.

Ready to eat food on offer includes barbecued sausages and burgers, pies, wraps, handmade crepes and a fantastic vegan offering with salads and roti wraps to enjoy on site or take away.

The Chase Market is also encouraging artists and crafts people to join the market, along with local charities and community groups. These stalls have proved to be well-received at other CCFM markets, helping to connect local people and their interests.

The proof is in the pudding!

Invite your friends and take the family along on launch day for live music, special offers, entertainment and face painting for the kids. The market is situated in the car park of Wimbledon Chase Primary School – a short walk from Wimbledon Town Centre and around the corner from the lovely Dundonald Park, perfect for walking off a full belly with a new large playground for the kids.

If you are interested in signing up for a food, arts and crafts or community/charity stall for the new Chase Market, or have any questions please email lawrence@weareccfm.com.
