Tama Matherson will be playing some of the composer’s favourite chamber pieces, taking us through a journey of Tchaikovsky’s personal life and beautifully intimate music works.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy Tchaikovsky in our home town of Wimbledon. What’s more, if you join the event 1/2 hour prior to the concert, you will receive a glass of complimentary Prosecco and get the chance to meet the talented cast.
Tama Matheson is a director, actor and writer from London. He is currently Artistic Director of The Brisbane Shakespeare Festival, whilst freelancing in both theatre and opera. Tama seems to be a highly successful musician, with reviews from Debbie Price from 4MBS Classic FM who stated that, “every word, movement and note was perfection. A stunning evening.”
The London Mozart Players celebrate their 70th anniversary this year, as the world’s finest chamber ensembles with a passion for music and performance. We are excited to see how they’ll accompany Tama in portraying Tchaikovsky’s emotion and unique sound through their musical rendition.
We look forward to seeing you there.
