JAZZ IN A BROAD WAY
Enjoy end of summer evenings listening to jazz in the New Wimbledon Theatre this September. With sultry swing, funky beats, foot tapping originals and dance divining global tunes, international award winning acro-vocalist Verona Chard will start off this evening of mesmerising mood music. You can also relax in the bar of the theatre where there will be refreshments available.

THE DOG & FOX ROADSHOW
The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon where we hosted our annual Wimbledon Village Tennis Party this year are showcasing their new and nearly finished purpose built function space – the Coach House, as well as their boutique hotel.
Moreover, during this sneak peak you’ll also find all you need to know about Christmas 2019 at the Dog & Fox! Stalls from wedding hire, parties and corporate events will be available for the public to see and staff will be there to assist you with anything else you’d like to know.
Acoustic mellow music by Aaron Norton will be playing to compliment your evening as well as delicious Christmas canapés to help you get into the Christmas mood early this year! ABUNDANCE FRUIT DAY 2019
Come to St Mark’s Church tucked away behind Wimbledon Library and find yourself picking up delicious fresh fruit. With the many beautiful fruit trees in Wimbledon, fruit is bound to go to waste often. Abundance helps people who are struggling financially to purchase fresh food either for themselves or their families.
Help the community of Sw19 and reduce waste whilst also having plenty of fruitful fun! Whilst you can donate your own fruit as well as go fruit picking, there’s also a jam-making session for those who have a sweet tooth.

PAINT ART DECO LONDON!
Unleash your creativity at Fire Stables’s PopUp Painting event. The theme explored will be centred around Charlotte Ellinas‘s extraodinary Art Deco London scene, where you’ll be given a chance to play with beautiful bright colours and unique decorative shapes to construct your own vintage style painting.
You don’t need to be an experienced artist or an artist at all to enjoy this fun activity. Guidance will be provided by a practicing artist while you have drinks and other refreshments available during your painting session.

WIMBLEDON MARATHON FEST

THE WIMBLEDON TOWN & COUNTRY SHOW
The Wimbledon Town and Country Show has something for everyone to enjoy. WIMBLEDON ARTS & CRAFTS MARKET
Come down to the piazza on Wimbledon Broadway where there will be a colourful array of art pieces from local artists and designers. Shop for oil on canvas, watercolour, art prints, painted pottery, photographic prints and much more available with over 20 stall holders. You’ll definitely find something to suit your taste.

JO HOLDSWORTH: VIEWING FIGURES EXHIBITION
Local artist Jo Holdsworth will be showcasing her beautiful art work at the Norman Plastow Gallery in the Museum of Wimbledon. Her exhibition, which also forms as part of the Merton Arts Festival, will be supporting Wimbledon Guild, a charity dedicated to the residents of Merton in which Jo is giving a percentage of all sales to this charity.
Jo has won the Royal Arts Prize Visitors’ Choice Award 2019 alongside fine artist Clare Law. Jo’s work mainly consists of oil paintings and you can see her work currently on display at APPI Healthcare Wimbledon.

MERTON ARTS FESTIVAL 2019
With 100 artists to showcase an exciting line up of their brilliant art pieces, we invite you to Merton Arts Festival 2019! WIMBLEDON GUILD WAGGY WALK
Whether you own a dog or just have a love for them, this is the event for you. In Wimbledon Common, Merton based charity Wimbledon Guild is holding a family dog walk to help raise money for locals experiencing mental health issues, particularly social anxiety and isolation.
Check in is at the Hand in Hand pub on Wimbledon Common between 9.00am – 10.15am where complimentary breakfast pastries and drinks will be served to participants. Post walk refreshments will also be available after the 4km or 7km picturesque walk to choose from.
At the end of the event there will be a goody bag given to participants from Metro Bank and luxury pet shop, Pet Pavilion as well as a H.R. Owen Maserati sponsored commemorative rosette for each dog.
