Hugo Ticciati is the violinist of the moment, making a considerable name for himself both as a virtuoso violinist, and for his creative programming, curating events worldwide, including the Wigmore Hall and King’s Place in London.
Method in Madness is a true “festival” event, taking a dramatic trip to the frenzied world of Baroque opera in the company of some of Vivaldi’s mad characters. Here the world of Vivaldi is contrasted with the world of the celebrated Finnish composer-rock guitarist Marzi Nyman.
The operatic star for this madness is Luciana Mancini from the Berlin Staatsoper, with a voice of huge range, richness, and technical brilliance and as Festival Director. Wimbledon International Music Festival have been waiting three years for her to become available to appear at the festival.
