Artfully Sorted art consultancy launch online art show inspired by nature and the environment on World Environment Day, Friday 5th June.Β

‘Nature Reflected’ is a new online art exhibition curated by art consultancy, Artfully Sorted featuring work by 22 acclaimed artists inspired by nature and the environment. This show launches Friday 5th June at 11am to coincide with World Environment Day, a day which aims to encourage action and awareness around the world in protecting our environment. The event is in support of World Land Trust charity, an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most significant and threatened habitats.

The art exhibition will go live at artfullysorted.com/nature-reflected where artwork across different mediums of paintings, photography, prints and sculpture will be shown from artists who have taken their inspiration from subjects that can be found in the natural world. The exhibition intends to create a dialogue between the viewer, nature, art and artist and increase our appreciation of the natural world. There will be a video talk through of the key pieces from each artist in the show by founder Charissa Risley, available as well on the event’s webpage. The show runs until the 30th June.

Of the 22 artists participating in the show, the following are either based in Wimbledon or work from their studios in the area; Jo Holdsworth, Alanna Eakin, Andrew McIntosh, Sarah Ollerenshaw, Kate Dolan, Laura Benetton, Patrick Steel, Jonquil Williamson, and Katharine Rowe.

Other great talented artists exhibiting include; Bianca Smith, Mieke Douglas, Misha Milovanovich, Sarah Warren, Jan Erika, Kate Kelleher, Susanna MacInnes, Robyn Forbes, Fereshteh Stoecklein, Julia Anne Taylor, Victoria Horkan, Darragh Mulrooney and Suzanne Winn.

Do visit this exciting new art show in support of a great cause.

Featured artwork:

Together Again by Sarah Ollerenshaw

Sarah is an artist at Wimbledon Art Studios who is known for her bluebells. They remind her of the people she loves, particularly her beloved grandmother who was dear to her. This artwork was painted during lockdown as she feared she wouldn’t be able to go out walking and see the bluebells in season. It is called ‘Together Again” in the hope that we will be able to embrace the ones we love again and walk in our favourite spots.

Summer Shores by Jo Holdsworth

Inspired by low tide at Polzeath, ‘Summer Shores’ was created for ‘Nature Reflected’ and beautifully captures the iridescent light on the sea and the hope we all feel that we will be back visiting our stunning coastlines very soon.

Montage features artwork by

Andrew McIntosh who has exhibited work in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition a number of times.

Bianca SmithΒ counts milliner Philip Treacy as a collector, as well as finds her paintings a notable hit with rock royalty.Β  She is also a favourite ofΒ noteworthy interior designer Sophie Paterson. Bianca was also commissioned to do a painting for Kate and William as a wedding gift.
