Lady Wimbledon caused a stir this week, as she shook Wimbledon Village into a frenzy with her notorious Wimbledon Tennis Party at the Dog & Fox.

Taking over the Coach House with large party tables of 6 surrounded by bright blue, purple and green flower walls. It was an oasis tennis themed courtyard over looking the pretty village.

Guests entered the party through a stunning flower arch courtesy of Sipsmith’s, transforming the space into a floral wonderland all laced with the iconic purple and green Wimbledon colours.

Wearing her new ‘EYE ❤ YOU’ hat from Ella London, Lady Wimbledon was delighted to welcome dressed to impress guests  in a selection of retro tennis attire and Wimbledon- inspired fancy dress.

Upon arrival, everyone was treated to glasses of Sipsmith’s new Strawberry Smash Gin; official sponsors of the Championships. A unique twist on their classic London Dry Gin, the Strawberry Smash is distilled with real Wimbledon strawberries and a hint of English mint; a delicate fruitiness which captures the true essence of the tennis culture.

The gin was accompanied by Fever Tree’s Raspberry and Rose Soda, made with delicately perfumed Damask rose petals and combined with the juicy sweetness of late-harvest raspberries. It was utterly perfect for mixing with Sipsmith’s gin for the ideal summer spritz..

The party vibe was electric as Garage legend MC-KIE travelled far and wide with his incredible entourage to be at this Lady W Event, creating the perfect summer playlist with a fun and lively Reggaetón set. We watched locals pass by with smiles, as they felt the excitement return once more to the streets of Wimbledon Village. The tables near the speakers enjoyed the beat running through their veins and their hearts as it had literally been over a year since we had experienced a fun loving party – filled with laughter and pure joy of being together.

As MC-KIE made a loud and clear shout out to Lady Wimbledon:

“Everyone showed up tonight looking great, can we all raise a glass or a bottle – whatever is in front of you right now – and just salute this wonderful woman, your parties are just off the hook. Thank you. The message is bringing people together, and enjoying whatever freedom we may have.”

We were blessed with a warm summers evening, upkeeping the classic Wimbledon tradition of  Jugs of Pimms filled with slices of orange, lemon, cucumber, mint and strawberries. Guests were hooked on the Sipsmith’s glasses of Strawberry Smash Gin and the orders kept flowing.  Bottles of Wimbledon Brewery beer quickly emptied as empty bottles were replaced with fresh order of tasty burgers from Youngs  notorious burger shack.

It was an incredible evening at the dog and fox Wimbledon, right in the heart of Wimbledon Village.. We will always remember the music, the drinks, the service, food and event the most perfect weather –

Bring on the next Lady Wimbledon Party…
