Lady W and team closed out the week in style at Hotel Du Vin’s infamous Cannizaro House. Situated in an 18th-century country house, Cannizaro House features some of the best views in SW London; the hotels restaurant, The Orangery, flaunting a polished, yet inviting environment that can’t help but call its visitors attention to observing the vast greenery surrounding it.

With a team comprised of a vast range of dietary requirements, it never fails to impress us when we come across a restaurant that appeals to not only to the standard sweet tooth, but to the gluten free, vegetarian, or full out vegan one. A highlight of eating here is the vast range of options available for all.

Standouts from the menu include, the gluten free poached honey and marsala figs over a creamy pannacotta, the chocolate truffle cake served with a side of crème fraîche, and the silky selections of vegan raspberry or lemon sorbet.

In case you were wondering, the main menu doesn’t fall short either. With a range of stand out options such as the aubergine and halloumi bake, the squid ink risotto with scallops and squid, the pumpkin and sage ravioli in a beurre noisette sauce, and the side of parmesan and truffle fries, there is a mouthful of heaven for all to enjoy.
