We took a trip to one of London’s most immersive film experiences, Backyard Cinema in Wandsworth…
Currently transporting guests to Miami Beach and L.A Nights, Backyard Cinema is a modern twist on movie theatres. Guests arrive at the cinema by plane or through the Miami Beach hotel lobby and are immediately transported to each themed Backyard Cinema experience. With a cast of music comedy trained actors, incredible set design and music, you are immediately taken out of the mundane and immersed into the action.
Miami Beach
Start your trip off by checking into the Miami Beach Hotel where the lobby staff will serve and entertain you. Once you’re settled, head to the stunning flamingo beach bar where you can expect signature palm tree cocktails and the opportunity to dance like you’re in the 1980s. There you will be transported to the dreamy sand filmed cinema where you can sit back and enjoy the film.
LA Nights
Take off to Backyard Airlines where you will fly first class with a glass of bubbles before arriving in the City of Angels. During travels buckle up and enjoy the in-flight entertainment which includes dancing flight attendants and immersive audio. As the sun sets join the guests in the Cinema room with L.A themed décor.
Film lovers unite! Each pizza at backyard has toppings based on famous films such as “Se7en”and “Four Weddings and a funeral”. If Pizza doesn’t take your fancy then situated in the food court is La Posta, a delicious Argentinian Sandwich popup shop serving both meaty and vegan options.
