On the 23rd of October Macmillan will be hosting an early christmas fair at the Sacred heart church hall on Edge hill in Wimbledon. Entry is only £3 and will be donated to Macmillan. The event will run from 10am – 3am and is the perfect opportunity to get ahead with your annual Christmas shopping. With a wide range of wonderful stalls who have pledge 10% of their sales to Macmillan, so the event gives you the opportunity to do some important Christmas shopping whilst helping to raise funds for Macmillan services in our local hospitals.
The Macmillan Merton Committee (who are hosting this event) have been fundraising for over 50 years. The current team is made up of local ladies and one gentleman, who run events with the intention of raising funds for the Macmillan services in our area. The Macmillan Merton Committee also work closely the with the Macmillan head office and look at what services require funds and then work to provide that funding for them
