There is no excuse not to enjoy the great outdoors at the moment, as the UK experiences its own Indian Summer. There are plenty of fun things to do this weekend in SW19, such as Fruit Day 2016.

This Saturday, Abundance Wimbledon are holding their annual Fruit Day, bringing people from different backgrounds together – with mouthwatering jams, chutneys, cakes, honey, and fruit on sale. The children can get involved with apple pressing activities, pie making workshops, arts & crafts, and jam tasting sessions. Not to mention, there will even be a band to liven up the atmosphere.

Where: St Mark’s Church hall & garden (behind Wimbledon Library)
When: Saturday 17th September 2016
Time: 11am – 2pm
