Ever wondered where our old clothes go? You’re not alone. Wimbledon BookFest and Oxfam in Wimbledon Village are joining forces on Saturday 1 October 2016, to educate the public about the journey of their clothes.

Learn all about how clothes donated to the globally renowned charity, Oxfam travel from your wardrobes, through the charity and to recipients in Senegal.

What is Slow Fashion?

The Slow Fashion Movement was first coined by Kate Fletcher (sustainable design consultant) in 2008. Slow fashion encourages slower production schedules, fair wages, lower carbon footprints, and zero waste.

Find out more about this exciting movement at the event.
