Wimbledon Village Stables Successful Fancy Dress Day

The annual Fancy Dress Day in SW19 was a huge success! On Sunday 23 October, 2016 the incredibly generous Wimbledon community helped Wimbledon Village Stables raise over £11,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Lady Wimbledon was on hand to judge the Children’s Fancy Dress with Darling Magazine‘s Karine Torr at The Dog & Fox. Not to mention South West London TV captured the spectacular scenes, as Dantastic Productions kept the kids entertained with spooktastic tricks, whilst the professionals completed their sponsored ride through the village.

Organiser and Wimbledon Village Stables owner, Carol Andrews said: “What an incredible amount of money to raise and it was fabulous to have the support of everyone in the Village. We had such fun on the ride – people couldn’t believe their eyes when we rode past.”
