New live music venue The Sound Lounge is set to open its doors in Tooting on Friday 27 January, 2017 and Wimbledon Brewery are thrilled to be sole draught beer supplier and support this exciting and inspiring space for the community.
Sound Lounge’s brilliant new site will see them transformed into a local music venue, arts centre, bar and café, thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign. The addition of the arts centre, bar and café will see Sound Lounge as one of London’s newest music venues, at a time where venues are under serious threat.
Wimbledon Brewery’s support with Sound Lounge is to assist Hannah and Keiron in providing a bigger space for their regular music sessions, promoting unsigned artists and emerging bands, which they previously held in a smaller venue in Colliers Wood.
For the grand opening on Friday 27 January, you’ll be able to enjoy a selection of Wimbledon Brewery Beers. Sound Lounge’s bar will permanently stock our Bravo APA, and Gold Lager on keg, as well as a rotating cask for music events, as well as our range of bottles and cans.
Keiron Marshall and Hannah White, the husband and wife co-founders, said: “We’re going to have live music, we’re going to have some special guests and we’re all going to have a drink and celebrate!”
Enjoy music from I Am Willow, Michael Garret and Chums, Hannah White and Heavy on the Strawberries, whilst sipping on an ice cold beer with friends – what a great way to spend a Friday evening.
