As much as I love making pancakes, I love going out to enjoy them more! There are some brilliant local cafés and restaurants which serve them. Enjoy all the flavour with none of the washing up!

Crepe Affaire

For pancakes where else is there to go in central Wimbledon but Crepe Affaire. From the sweet to the savory this delicious restaurant has exactly the pancakes you need this Pancake Day. For a savory crepe I’d recommend the Mexican Chicken, for sweet the ‘I’ll have what she’s having’ crepe topped with Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream. I really want to try the all day breakfast crepe on my next visit!

Address: 8 The Broadway, Wimbledon, SW19 1RF

Brew

In Wimbledon Village head to Brew for their American style blueberry pancakes served with caramelised banana, creme fraiche and maple syrup. A stack of pancakes with the fruity sweetness on top is perfect with a cup of coffee! Definitely a pancake treat and super fun to share.

Address: 21 High Street Wimbledon, SW19 5DX

Absolute Abode

Travel a little further for a super pancake breakfast at Absolute Abode. Their banana and maple glazed pecan pancakes with bacon is heaven. A wonderful meal and the mix of sweet maple syrup with the nuttiness of the pecans, the soft pancakes and the saltiness of the bacon is just perfection!

Address: 76-78 Coombe Lane, Raynes Park, SW20 0AX
