It is a classic and traditional breakfast for a reason! The full English is one meal that on a weekend morning can be the best treat, especially if the after work drinks on Friday went on a little longer than planned! Wimbledon is lucky enough to have a brilliant range of restaurants and cafes that serve such a super breakfast. Here are my top places to go, each with their own take on the classic breakfast.
Situated opposite Nelson hospital this cafe is a lovely way to start the day with friends and family for a treat of a breakfast. The atmosphere is oh so friendly and it’s a great place to catch up with fiends and easily loose a few hours with a tasty meal. Their menu is varied but their full english A&M breakfasts are superb and even have bubble and squeak to add a little something extra.

A hidden gem of Wimbledon is the Mica Cafe and once you have tasted their proper greasy spoon full English breakfast you will be regular! Opened in 1967 it is a true Wimbledon legend of a cafe and you will not be disappointed. Their menu is huge and you can have their special or super breakfast or mix and match your favourite items to make your perfect breakfast.

A cute and welcoming restaurant in the Justin James Hotel, Lu-Ma offers delicious varied healthy food including a super vegetarian and vegan options and their breakfasts are incredible. Their clean Full English is a super start for the day when wanting a treat but keeping on a healthy kick. It is a mix of smoked salmon, poached eggs, tomatoes, spinach, avocado, home made baked beans and gluten free bread.

Hotel du Vin – Cannizaro House
What a way to start the day than in the bistro of Hotel du Vin with the common on one side and the beautiful gardens of Cannizaro to the other. The traditional breakfast is as traditional as you can get and a real treat for the taste buds!
