The House & Garden Festival was back at Olympia London last week – always a source for inspiration and a sign that summer has officially arrived.

The Olympia Hall itself is quite inspirational with all of the natural light and the amazing spacious roof. If you didn’t get the chance to go yourself, I will go over the highlights.

The first floor theatre is where different talks were held throughout the four days, and also where the garden section was located. I got some top tips about garden design which i’ll bring to you later on…

Flowers, both fresh and artificial, were the most eye-catching as I entered the impressive festival. The artificial flowers were so incredible I had to examine them to decide if they were fake or not.

They had the most beautiful bouquets – a perfect choice for your home when the summer season is over. A few years ago, that was considered rather outdated, but things change, thats for sure.

I treat myself to a delivery deal of fresh flowers every week, a selection picked from a farm – a charming mother and son business. I’m always excited, as you are supposed to arrange the flowers yourself straight from the box – so you can really let your creative juices flow.

Over in the Interior design section, two rooms in the middle of the venue were fully decorated for the visitors to admire. Two designers, and their team were also invited to decorate live, it makes me very happy to see colourful, bold and brave interiors. Anyone can go white or neutral, so it’s a joy to welcome a colourful and creative mix.

The two spaces had a mix of various suppliers, and they’re all mentioned in a list, so if you are dying to know something in particular, contact us and we will help you out. The first one is a is a serene and glamorous bedroom space created by Studio Duggan. I just love the colourful and contemporary look which is elegant, with some surprising elements, such as the wall art.
