It’s all aboutΒ Wimbledon at the moment, and we’re waiting in anticipation for the final thisΒ weekend.
The white themeΒ has been connected toΒ Wimbledon for years. I am going toΒ show you a house where the interiors are a perfect combination of all-white walls and curtains, as well asΒ warmer shades of light, muted colours.
The family home is situated close to Wimbledon Common and Wimbledon Village, and it has a lot of green areas around – that’s a good start if you are thinking about white walls, as your windows are automatically framed with colours from the outside.
White walls and wooden floors are the perfect combination, and dark or light wooden floors are easy to match with white. Wooden floors often have a yellow finish, that’s why white is always a good choice.
This home has a white base, but also uses cool blues and warmer colours like brown areΒ added, plusΒ different variations of wood.
Black and white photos are a nice touch – it adds a sophisticated and calmingΒ feel.
Think white sand, stone, wood, blue oceans and definitely a red strawberry or two….
