Like it or not, it’s time to start planning your Christmas projects. Refurbishing the whole house seems to be a common trap to stumble into this time of year. But why not try something on a smaller scale? This little doll’s house project makes a perfect Christmas gift.

Last year I had a lot of fun, making a worn down doll house look fresh and inviting with the help of a decorated paper bag, a stiff papered magazine, some fabric samples and some wall paper samples. Oh, and the art – yes a catalogue from our local fine art studio.

I guess the photos talk for themselves. It’s like a little Manor House you can makeover in a few hours. Only a little Christmas tree missing in front of the fire place. Who would not love to have an old little house freshly painted and made for them especially? I must admit the designer had a jolly good time as well. Maybe I will even decorate it for Christmas, who knows.

From now on I will collect all the hot brands’ most exclusive wallpaper samples and make the hottest Manor House you can ever dream of.

If you really want to be inspired for the Holiday season, I recommend to dream on with a Sunday morning coffee, and this link.
