Winter gatherings are extra nice when you and your guests can enjoy natural decorations you have brought in from the woods.

We are surrounded by the most wonderful places to go and to pick a pinecone or two, as you enjoy the fresh November air, and hopefully a little sunshine. Very discreet, also collect branches for your table on your stroll.

Winter season decorating tips:

  • Bring the nature in. A monochrome palette is beautiful for a winter meal.
  • Mix everything” you have for an interesting holiday-season look, and don’t forget to light your fire!
  • Use greenery and small plants more than flowers for this season.
  • Layer up your table cloths. Is your table cloth too small? Put a blanket underneath.

Here are my three favourite table cloths this season:

  1. H&M Red Cotton Tablecloth
  2. Lexington Checked Tablecloth
  3. H&M Washed Linen Tablecloth
