But it’s not just about the clothes anymore, you can wear glitter all over your body too! From your make up to your nails, and even shimmer on your skin.
Warning! Glitter goes everywhere. My beauty room is one big sparkle throughout December – I personally don’t mind, as it adds to the festivities. But when doing your own makeup you don’t want it everywhere, so I always recommend doing your glitter eyes first, this way you can then clean any glitter off from the rest of your face, rather than having ruined your foundation trying to remove it.
If you are feeling brave you can add glitter around the eye area, for a really sparkly look, which I wore to Lady Wimbledon’s Christmas Party.
Sparkly nails are one of my favourite things about Christmas. If you choose gels they will last you for the whole of the Christmas period and for New Yea’s Eve.

If you want to do your own glitter nails at home then Elegant Touch have an amazing selection of stick on nails and they all have cute names like ‘Tinsel Tips’ and ‘Golden Baubles.’ Available online and in Superdrug.
If you are baring all in a Christmas Party Dress then you will love this shimmer oil from Nuxe, it gives your skin a pretty shimmer without being too over sparkly. It will also give you a summer glow, perfect for when our skin hasn’t seen the sun for months. Available online and in Marks and Spencer.
Have a very sparkly Christmas and New Year!
