It’s February.  At last! Dry January is over, mini eggs have started hitting the shelves, you are no longer totally skint AND the days are getting longer.
February is also the month of love (sorry, semi-cringe) – but let’s face it, most of us cram ourselves into a tiny corner of a restaurant overloaded with other couples who also left it too late to book anything extraordinary. On the other hand, I’ve always maintained it’s a great month.
First of all, it’s my birthday. And secondly, what a good excuse to buy a new outfit. Pink, after all is the colour of love, in whatever form you feel it. Affection, lust, passion, tenderness, yearning or adoration. And the good news? Men are predominantly attracted to shades of red above any other colour and as pink is a shade of red, it’s high time we put aside that LBD and hunt down a little pink dress. We should all get in touch with our feminine side from time to time so why not try it this month? I’ve selected my favourite Valentines dresses; from budget to luxury and from sassy to chic… all you need is the colour of love…

ASOS Lace Contrast Midi Pencil Dress, £34.00

For Love and Lemons, £350.00

TFNC Two tone sequin dress, £39.00

Body Frock, Heavy Lace dress, £168

Masscob at Iris Fashion, Indian cotton dress, £300

Gul Hurgel, £725

Finding the right shade of pink to suit your skintone is always tricky, so if you’re unsure what to buy, get in touch.
