With the Duchess of Cambridge having just given birth to her third child this week, here are my top three child-friendly, grown up restaurants where the food and coffee is great for all ages.

Bills

This casual restaurant in the heart of Wimbledon offers brilliant service for families. It’s spacious enough for pushchairs and the calm atmosphere and soft music make it a relaxing place to visit and enjoy a meal – they have a delicious avocado on toast with poached eggs – or a cup of their delicious coffee.

MOKA

Situated in Centre Court Shopping Centre the Moka Cafe offers delicious food and is very welcoming to families. Their large cafe is well spaced out and the lovely staff will happily make room for buggies. The mix of food available on their menu caters for a lot tastes and intolerances including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan.

Queen’s Rd, Wimbledon, SW19 8YE

The Dog & Fox

The much-loved pub in the village is not only a great place for food and drink but also very family friendly. The staff are always so kind and considerate and will go out of their way to cater to you. Their menu is also delicious and their roasts are definitely worth trying! If you don’t eat meat their vegetarian options are stunnig and seasonal.
