Event – Prudential RideLondon
This weekend, London will be buzzing with people pedalling away on their bikes for the sixth Prudential RideLondon.
The cycling festival, taking place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July, is aimed at encouraging people to take up the form of more active and environmentally friendly travel.
On Sunday, we’ll support the riders before their final 10 miles as they cycle through Wimbledon. Join in on the fun from these top spots…
Get Excited – Love Wimbledon Street Party
Love Wimbledon’s Street Party is back again, celebrating cyclists from around the world as they whizz through Wimbledon on Sunday 29 July.
There will be lots of activities for all the family, including:
Live music, (12-6pm) including a performance from Putney & Wimbledon Brass Band at 3.30-4.30pm
Street Party, with a pop-up bar from Hand & Racquet, Wimbledon 12-6.30pm
Face painting, glitter tattoos and Miss Ballooniverse from Elys of Wimbledon 11am-5pm
Exciting Rollapaluza from Prudential RideLondon 11-5pm
Lunchtime street food from Roxie Steak
Goody bags and health advice from Virgin Active UK
You can expect to see riders cycling for charity through Wimbledon from 9.15am with the bulk coming through from 12.20pm. Pro cyclist anticipated between 5.30-6.30pm. Roads are expected to re-open at 7.30pm.

Pop-Up Bar – The Hand & Racquet
Watch the riders zoom past as you enjoy a more laidback lunch in the outside seating area at The Hand & Racquet pub. They’ll be serving an abundance of summery drinks and local ales from their pop-up plus have a delicious pub food menu – all perfectly suited to this delightful day!

Cheers & Beers – The Dog & Fox
The Dog & Fox’s large outdoor area gets you roadside of the action. After tackling the treacherous Wimbledon Hill, riders will really benefit from loud cheers to keep them peddling the final 10 miles to The Mall.
