I was intuitively lead to this wonderfully powerful and deeply relaxing meditation technique. I am not one of those people who find meditation easy however this meditation practice is not only incredibly soothing in the moment, it also helps us to unlock our subconscious and our intuition in order to manifest what we most desire. Now there’s some motivation to meditate!
The practice itself:
1. Lie down comfortably
2. Search for ‘theta sound wave binaural beats’ audio on You Tube and press play
3. Close your eyes and begin to visualise a dream or goal you want to create or experience in your life
4. When your mind draws you into, ‘But how will that happen? I need to make a list? It seems impossible…’ or any other rational thought process, just let those thoughts go and get back to your visualisation
5. Make the visualisation as vivid as you can, as if you were in the scene and can smell the smells, see the sights and hear the sounds
6. Continue for as long as you like (before going to sleep is a perfect time to do this)
So why is this technique so powerful?
Because theta sound waves encourage your brain to produce more theta brain waves through a process called ‘frequency following response’. Some of the benefits of theta brainwaves are reduction of anxiety, increased creative insight, creativity and easier access to your subconscious. Promoting these benefits in your brain while you are relaxed and vividly visualising your dream scenario allows your desires to be deeply embedded in your psyche.
Sage Taylor Kingsley-Goddard explains it like this:
‘The correct and consistent use of (theta wave) binaural beat technology coupled with positive affirmations, images and intentions will retrain your brain at the subconscious level – deeply, quickly, easily and naturally, empowering you to vibrationally resonate with and install – at the crucial subconscious level – what you want to manifest in your life.’
It’s so good I’ve actually inspired myself to go and do a theta visualisation session right now! I invite you to give it a try.
