Mind, Body & Soul Boosting Teas

Mind, Body & Soul Boosting Teas

We know drinking plenty of water throughout the day is essential to our health.

So I’ve done some research into herbal teas and found the benefits of the natural flavourings we can add to hot water. The reports I’ve read are fascinating!

I find fruity and herby teas tasty, refreshing, uplifting and a fantastic alternative to breakfast tea on a hot, sunny day like today.

So up your water intake, care for your wellbeing and drink yourself happy-tea ever after!

Here are my top 5…

Saffron – Known as the “Sunshine Spice” for its mood boosting qualities. This rich spice has been used by Ayurvedic Practioners to treat mental health for thousands of years.

Rose – They say this reduces stress and emotional hormones by calming the nervous system. Some say it can even help to heal a broken heart.

Rosemary – Said to increase memory retention and help you to keep focussed.

Mint – May improve digestion, reduce pain, eliminate inflammation and relax the mind and body.

Orange – Citrus fruits rich in Vitamin C can help to fight colds.
