With Veganism taking off it wasn’t long before the meat and animal-product-free diet made its way to Wimbledon. Luckily there are beautiful places all over our town that offer fantastic Vegan meals. Visit these great local restaurants and try out my favourite vegan food in Wimbledon.
Vegan Food In Wimbledon
My first choice for a Vegan tasty meal this Veganuary is at The Old Frizzle. The wonderful restaurant serves up a fantastic harissa red pepper, aubergine dip and hummus mezzo platter with flatbread and sweet potato falafels. It’s a great sharing board and the mix of warm flatbread, creamy hummus and the crumbly falafels works a treat and will forever be one of the best dishes I’ve had at The Old Frizzle. They’ve got a Veganuary menu too which is worth exploring with one of their cocktails.

For a lovingly prepared vegan breakfast, brunch or lunch visit Lu-Ma for one of their fresh and flavoursome dishes. Their brunch menu is wonderful and so healthy too. Their fresh start brunch made up of roasted beef tomato, steamed greens, mushrooms, homemade sugar-free beans, avocado, grated daikon, sprinkled with chia seeds served with two slices G/F bread Choice of 2 organic eggs, tempeh, scrambled tofu is enough to set the day off very very well.

A scoop of Italian ice cream for dessert. G like Gelato have offered a range of freshly made vegan Italian gelato since they opened last summer and this January the most popular are back. They have super fruity sorbets which are all vegan including wild strawberry and their best seller mango. Their rich and velvety dark chocolate gelato, however, is something completely different. It is so creamy and full of flavour it surprises everyone when they find out it’s vegan. They also do vegan gelato cakes which are so beautiful and can be stored at home.
