Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, whether you have a date, a party or chilling with your girl friends; what makeup will you be wearing this Valentine’s day?

I think Valentine’s Day Makeup should be soft and subtle with no smokey eyes or full blown contouring, just natural and pretty to create a romantic feel.

So of course it is all about having kissable lips, and this time of year after the cold winter and heating constantly blaring out are lips are usually left dry and cracked – not the kissable look we are going for. I have been using Dr Lipp, it looks lovely on it’s own as it is super glossy and makes the lips look fuller and shiny, perfectly kissable.

If you would like more of a colour, then I would recommend a soft pink colour like this new one from Cid Cosmetics. This lipstick was really moisturising and did not dry my lips out like some do, which would not have been a good look on Valentine’s Day. It also lasted really well, perfect for a kiss or two if you are on a Valentine’s Day date.

If you are having a full on night out and want to go for a glamorous look then I would definitely choose a red lip. For the Lady Wimbledon Love Ball I of course had to wear a red lip! I wore a black dress, so Bagsy Wow Lips in Killer Heels was perfect for adding colour and giving my outfit a Valentine’s Day theme.

This beautiful blusher is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. I just want to have it sitting on my dressing table looking pretty. It contains gold to give a reflective finish, perfect to add a bit of shimmer but isn’t too over powering.

I-Glow Blush – Coral Crush, £27.50

For me, it has to be a red nail for Valentine’s Day. A couple of weeks ago at the Couture fashion show, we used the perfect red from Kure Bazaar! I will be wearing this for Valentine’s day!
