The Ivy Café, Wimbledon has teamed up with one of France’s most historic Champagne houses, Perrier-Jouët, to launch a sumptuous ‘Butterfly Kisses’ Champagne afternoon tea from Monday 5th August to Sunday 29th September.
Whether you’re treating your friend on their birthday or impressing a date, the butterfly kiss adds a certain je ne sais quoi. We can’t wait to catch up in the enchanted garden terrace with Lady Wimbledon at the tail end of August and spend a long summer afternoon swapping stories of our summer holiday romance.
An array of delicious sweet and savoury favourites will be served such as truffled chicken brioche rolls, marinated cucumber and dill sandwiches alongside warm fruited scones with Dorset clotted cream and chocolate salted caramel mousse.

Guests will also be able to indulge in a limited edition chocolate pot topped with chocolate butterflies to be enjoyed, complimented with a glass of perfectly chilled Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut.
Those ordering the Perrier-Jouët ‘Butterfly Kisses’ Afternoon Tea will receive a notelet at the end of their meal which will unfold to reveal a secret message, and for 136 lucky people, a bespoke prize. Prizes include limited edition Perrier-Jouët champagne flutes, a complimentary dinner for two guests at The Ivy Cafe, Wimbledon and The Ivy Now cookbook.
