NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL
Every summer, close to one million people celebrate Caribbean heritage on the streets of Notting Hill in London. There are costume-clad Caribbeans dancing to traditional reggae, meringue, calypso, rumba, and zouk music, and street vendors selling foods like seasoned jerk chicken, callaloo, and traditional goat stew.

WIMBLEDON PARK FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL
This August Bank Holiday Weekend marks the 6th year of the Food and Drink Festival at Wimbledon Park. With over 45 stalls offering artisan bread and pastries, cheeses and charcuterie and food and drink from all corners of the world. Renowned chefs and food experts can be found in the Festival Kitchen giving cookery demonstrations, talks and tastings.

HAMPTON COURT PALACE FOOD FESTIVAL
A summer celebration of food and drink in the iconic East Front Gardens at Hampton Court Palace. There will be live cooking demos by top chefs and experts in the Kitchen. Discover, taste and shop your way around over 100 hand-picked artisan producers and companies. There are plenty of activities on offer to keep children of all ages entertained, from face painting to the circus school, arts and crafts and Dance Stars and a Bandstand with deckchairs around for all to relax.

ROSÉ WINE AND SEAFOOD PAIRING NIGHT AT HAND IN HAND
Hand in Hand’s Grape Master Chris is happy to invite you to the first seasonal Wine & Food pairing event! Hosted in the beautiful redecorated Bakery room for an exclusive tasting session of the pubs high end rose wines perfectly paired with four seafood small dishes designed by their Head Chef Elzie. Chris and the wine experts at Berkmann will take you to a trip to the best vineyards in France where rosé wines are produced and will talk you through all the tasting notes and tips you need to enjoy your dinner at its best.

WIMBLEDON VILLAGE FARMERS MARKET
Find fresh and local farm produce at Wimbledon Village Farmers Market. Stalls offer an array of field-fresh vegetables and fruit, butchers’ meat straight from the farm, pies, fresh fish, cakes, baked artisan bread, fruit, juices and sweet baked goods. Bring a big appetite and your shopping basket!

SOUTHSIDE HOUSE PUBLIC GUIDED TOUR
Ever been to the Southside? Drop in for a tour and a glimpse of a long-past era. Described by connoisseurs as an unforgettable experience, Southside House provides an enchantingly eccentric backdrop to the lives and loves of generations of the Pennington Mellor Munthe families. Southside House is a 17th-century house located on the south side of Wimbledon Common. It is Grade II* listed.

MUMMY BUDDY MEET UP AT DOG & FOX
The Mummy Buddy Community invites all Mums and Mums-to-be to The Dog & Fox for a drink, natter and giggle. Everyone is welcome the the ‘Mummy Buddy Knees-Up’ (babies, bumps and partners included) and most people won’t know each other so this is the perfect opportunity to meet new people.

SW4 FESTIVAL
Lady W’s favourite festival, South West Four, is a dance music festival based in Clapham Common, London. Taking place this August Bank Holiday weekend, the SW4 line up for 2019 includes headliners such as Martin Garrix, Tinie Tempah, Craig David, Chase & Status, Plan B and many more. SW4 mixes dance music beats, EDM, techno, house, DJ sets and grime to mark itself as one of London’s top dance music festivals. Join the party in Clapham and if you need a break from the dance floor, you will also have plenty of food and drink options along with fairground rides to keep the entertainment going.
