Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail, made with cachaça, sugar, and lime. Here’s how to make this light and refreshing drink, with just enough bite.
Cachaça is Brazil’s national distilled spirit made, from freshly-pressed sugarcane juice. Cachaça is 500 years old; it is an older spirit and larger category than rum. Since it’s distilled from a fresh plant, terroir matters. The terroir of the coastal Atlantic Rainforest makes Novo Fogo Organic Cachaça unique. When you open a bottle of Novo Fogo, you can smell and taste the natural wonders of southern Brazil.
