JAZZ IN A BROAD WAY
Enjoy end of summer evenings listening to jazz in the New Wimbledon Theatre this September. With sultry swing, funky beats, foot tapping originals and dance divining global tunes, international award winning acro-vocalist Verona Chard will start off this evening of mesmerising mood music. You can also relax in the bar of the theatre where there will be refreshments available.

THE DOG & FOX ROADSHOW
The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon where we hosted our annual Wimbledon Village Tennis Party this year are showcasing their new and nearly finished purpose built function space – the Coach House, as well as their boutique hotel.
Moreover, during this sneak peak you’ll also find all you need to know about Christmas 2019 at the Dog & Fox! Stalls from wedding hire, parties and corporate events will be available for the public to see and staff will be there to assist you with anything else you’d like to know.
Acoustic mellow music by Aaron Norton will be playing to compliment your evening as well as delicious Christmas canapés to help you get into the Christmas mood early this year! Some of Lady Wimbledon’s favourite suppliers such as the Wimbledon Brewery will also be providing drinks as well as Aperol, Campari and sparkling wine. To top it all off, guests will also receive goody bags! There’s so much that you won’t want to miss out on.

WIMBLEDON VILLAGE FARMERS MARKET
Find fresh and local farm produce at Wimbledon Village Farmers Market. Stalls offer an array of field-fresh vegetables and fruit, butchers’ meat straight from the farm, pies, fresh fish, cakes, baked artisan bread, fruit, juices and sweet baked goods. Bring a big appetite and your shopping basket!

Wimbledon & Putney Commons Open Day 2019
The annual Wimbledon and Putney Common’s Open Day reaches its 24th anniversary this year, with mass entertainment and a variety of stalls and intriguing displays available. With over 60 stalls to see as well as charity and creative craft stalls, visitors such as Wimbledon Village Stables presenting a horse show, the Household Cavalry and reptile events will be there as well as an exciting fun fair for kids. What’s more is that there will also be mini landcover rides by Littlelandies for children to enjoy.
Popular from 2018, the Essex Dog Display Team will be returning to the open day. If you’re a dog lover, there are plenty of fun things to do for you and your canine companion. Womballs Flyball Club will be hosting a game of flyball, a ball game and race for dogs.
Moreover, the new and exciting Birds of Prey Displays will be introducing South Wilts Falconry to guests. You’ll get to see a majestic falcon soar through the Wimbledon winds with the chance to indulge in beautifully crafted English beer served by Wimbledon Brewery. There will also be a selection of food stands, suitable for everyone’s taste.
