This weekend, two giants of international rugby go head to head at Yokohama Stadium in Japan. And one of them is England. Where better to watch the 2019 Rugby World Cup Final live this Super Saturday than your local rugby club, Old Wimbledonians RFC…
This Saturday at 8am, the nation will collectively hold its breath as England lines up to take on South Africa in Japan for the much-anticipated Rugby World Cup final.
Eddie Jones’s men have been consistently excellent throughout this 2019 tournament, getting better with each game, slowly building up to last Saturday’s memorable semi-final win over New Zealand. England dispatched the reigning champions in such emphatic style that many believe this coming final is already a foregone conclusion.
Can England recover from such an era-defining performance in time to go again this weekend, and back up those heroics to seal a second World Cup for their country?
There are lots of questions going into this Rugby World Cup final, and seeing the answers play out on Saturday morning will undoubtedly be thrilling and fascinating in equal measure.
Perhaps the most important question, though, for all the fans watching on home soil: where will you be the morning of Saturday, November 2, 2019?
The answer should hopefully be an easy one, because there’s only one place to watch the final on Saturday, and that’s at your local rugby club!
Why not head down to the Old Wimbledonians RFC in Raynes Park for all the build-up, action, and reaction from the final live on their big screens this weekend. The clubhouse will be packed, the atmosphere will be electric, and no matter the result, it’s certain to be an incredible game to watch in the company of like-minded rugby fans.
The OWRFC will be open from 8am, and there will be hot food and drinks available from 8:15am. Just head over to their website for full details, or if you want to reserve a full English breakfast.
Even though the final will finish around 11am (assuming it doesn’t go to extra time), there’s no need to think the day has to stop there either: the OWs will have the pick of the games from the Gallagher Premiership, as Leicester will be taking on Gloucester, Saracens hosting London Irish, and Wasps facing off against Bath, live on BT Sport from 3pm.
There’s so much to look forward to this Super Saturday at the Old Wimbledonians, so don’t miss out. Get down to Raynes Park for an amazing day of rugby!
